Dear Parents and Carers
Cavendish Close Junior Academy is a GOOD school!
I am delighted to share the Ofsted report from our recent inspection, which took place in
January.
As I’m sure you can imagine, I am very proud of the Good judgements we have received in all
areas. This is the first time that Cavendish Close Juniors has ever been judged as a good school
and this means so much to our whole school community.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff, pupils, families and trustees who
continue to work tirelessly to achieve the vision of Cavendish Close Junior Academy, allowing
our pupils to become ACE learners as they ‘Aspire, Collaborate and Experience.’
The implementation of changes that we have made since joining The Harmony Trust in
September 2017 has been well executed and the significant journey of improvement was both
recognised and praised during inspection. These actions and the impact of them are even
more significant as they have been achieved whilst we have been enduring a global pandemic.
As a dedicated staff team, we have all had a shared determination to continue to build on our
successes and will continue to strive to provide the very best quality of education for our
Cavendish Close Junior Academy pupils. We will carry on ensuring that all children attending
our academy believe in themselves, achieve well and succeed now, and in their future lives.
